Thanks to the Meta platform, Facebook will allow more crypto ads

The Facebook subsidiary Meta has changed the rules for publishing ads. This change was recorded at the end of last year when the rules for allowing ads have changed. Earlier rules forbade all cryptocurrency projects to share their promotions on Facebook. This means that the company has now adjusted its rules for publishing ads of this kind.

Protecting consumers from unfair cryptocurrency practices remains the most important principle for advertising. Facebook does not want to promote dubious projects that would cause users to risk losing their money, which is why the previous rules were so strict. However, in the past ads were allowed until such time as they turned out to be fraudulent projects. Subsequently, advertisements were allowed to certain entities, but written consent was also required. Today, written consent is also required, for example for cryptocurrency exchanges but also cryptocurrency wallets that allow the purchase and sale of cryptocurrencies.

These looser rules for posting ads are of course good news for the whole world of cryptocurrencies. Easier marketing on Facebook will allow cryptocurrencies and smaller projects to better address investors. It is, therefore, possible that we will soon see more cryptocurrency ads not only on Facebook but also on social networks in general. And that's why a lot of new projects will now have a much easier way to reach potential users.
